Government House
MGM Is doing the full mechanical contracting on this large-scale renovation of this landmark building which is the official home of the Lieutenant Governor. This building was originally built in 1859 but it was destroyed by fire in 1899. It was re-built by renowned architects Rattenbury and McClure only to be besieged with fire again in 1957. It was again re-built in a similar style to be the stunning structure that stands today. We will be working on new fire sprinklers, hydronic piping, HVAC, and be doing a full mechanical room demo and upgrade. The demolition during this project will be selective in order to preserve the building’s historical features.
