MGM is the mechanical contractor for this heritage restoration project. Working with Campbell construction, our crew is in the midst of creating 25 modern, loft condos in the heart of Chinatown.
This exciting project is nearing completion so home owners can move in.
MGM is proud to be a part of this project at the historic and iconic Craigdarroch Castle. We will be the mechanical contractor on this endeavour, working with Campbell Construction on a full renovation and addition of the visitor center for the castle.
Completed for the Dunsmuir family in 1890, the castle was built as a symbol of Robert Dunsmuir's wealth; he amassed his fortune in the coal industry. After being used as the family home, the castle was used as a military hospital for WWI veterans, a home for Victoria College, the Victoria School Board and the Conservatory of Music.
MGM’s crew is currently working on these condos in the heart of Sidney. They will soon become 11 condos with modern finishes. Rough-in stage is complete and we will be waiting for finishing stage. Can’t wait to see this when it’s done!

Custom Home in Sidney
This beautiful custom home in Sidney will feature a future air to water heat-pump, which will be extremely energy efficient. There will also be in-floor heating and the master en-suite features a steam shower. The design of this house is crisp and contemporary, and the views are stunning.
We will be working on a renovation and expansion to the current B.C. Transit store building.
Renovations to the second floor of this B.C. government leased space, as well as installation of new heating boxes on the first and second floor, currently occupied by the ministry of finance. The work on this project will involve close co-ordination with the end-user to ensure minimal disruption to their occupied work space.
